How FP Property Restoration used Encircle

FP Property Restoration.

LOCATION: Florida
FOUNDED: 2011
INDUSTRY: Property Restoration

FP Property Restoration has been serving Florida for 14 years, providing end-to-end property restoration services including mitigation and mold remediation, for both residential and commercial properties. With five offices across the state and a sixth on the way, the company brought in $32 million in revenue last year—with Encircle playing a key role in that growth.

Rooted in accountability and integrity, FP knows that consistent service is the foundation of restoration success. “You have to act, talk, and deliver services a certain way regardless of who's in the room. And the value of every call is much higher than it was in the past, so Encircle has really helped strengthen our process and take our service digital—giving us more consistency and confidence with every job” says FP President, Steve Glozik.

Challenge – Scattered and incomplete documentation costing millions

Before Encircle, FP had no formal process for documenting jobs. Teams used whatever device was available, sending photos through email and relying on a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool that couldn’t capture the right data. The result? Disorganized records, missed billing opportunities, and money left on the table.

This all came to a head after Hurricane Irma. With power down and the internet unavailable, their CRM was unusable. In their after-action review, they realized just how much money they likely lost due to poor documentation—millions. On top of that, they were scrambling to find photos scattered across different team members' phones. They didn’t have a centralized documentation platform that could meet all their needs—and it cost them.

“We couldn’t prove what work was done, or even what work needed to be done. Maybe the team went above and beyond the scope. Maybe there was no photo of the air mover. Maybe there were files and documents that were never collected. That was an expensive lesson for us. That’s when we got serious about locking in our SOPs—not just for CAT events, but for every single day.”

Solution – Building SOPs with an all-in-one app

FP Property Restoration knew they needed to improve—and that meant finding a platform built for the job. “We looked at CompanyCam, but it’s just photos. Dash is our CRM, but it has very limited functionality. So what we wanted was a solution that could bring everything under one roof,” says Glozik.

That’s when they found Encircle. Introduced by a partner, the platform offered the flexibility to handle any job—big or small, water or fire—within a single app. Steve recognized this opportunity to reduce their software stack, and took it.

“Everyone says you have to use this or that system, or they even put mandates in place. But at the end of the day, we’re here to capture dry logs, record property damage and justify our estimates with solid documentation. Encircle lets us do that without the noise.”

Even when third party adjusters or carriers doubted the change, once Encircle PDFs and reports were submitted, they were always impressed. “I even experienced a provider asking, ‘This is the level of detail we’re getting every time?’ The organization and data spoke for itself.”

Reflecting on the implementation of Encircle, Glozik shares, “It was easy to use. Our techs jumped right in. We even discovered people on the team who really took it and ran with it, making it easier for others to follow. Within a couple of weeks, everyone—from admins to PMs to techs—was using it.”

Following their success with field documentation, FP quickly adopted Encircle Floor Plan. It’s now used across all roles on the team—techs, PMs, and the recon team. The tool became a staple in week-one onboarding, ensuring every job has a floor plan.

Results –  15% annual revenue growth for 3 years and a confident team

In the years since adopting Encircle, FP Property Restoration has seen top line revenue increase by 15% year over year for 3 years and steady business growth—both in size and headcount. With better documentation, they’ve reduced liability, improved cash flow, and made life easier for project managers. What used to be 60 to 70 hour workweeks, are now far more manageable, helping PMs stay effective without burning out.

Encircle even became more than a documentation tool—it’s now part of FP’s sales and marketing strategy. “The reports are a resource we use to support business,” says Glozik. “Clients, partners, and carriers are super impressed with how comprehensive they are, and that helps us stand out.”

Today, FP’s SOPs live entirely inside Encircle—and they’re followed to a T. One standout example? Video walkthroughs with voiceover. “For years, we looked at thousands of photos of mold on a wall, with no idea where that wall was. Just a white wall with black spots. Now, our SOP requires a video walkthrough with narration the moment someone gets onsite. It gives context, clarity, and a timestamp. It’s added a layer of communication that helps us explain scope, get faster approvals, and justify estimates.”

An additional benefit has been a sense of ownership that extends across the team. “Encircle gave our techs a way to stand out—for better or worse. We started using it to evaluate performance. And when you do that, people take it seriously. Documentation improves, estimates improve, AR improves—and that lifts the whole company. It motivates people, helps us win more work, and builds trust across the board.”

Future of Restoration: Remote estimating with 360° photos and AI

FP Property Restoration sees 360° photos in Encircle as the next big leap forward in efficiency—especially for remote estimating and documentation. “With 360° images, floor plans, automatic photo and room labeling, and video walkthroughs all in one place, our team can quickly jump into any assignment, gather everything they need, and use our remote estimating hub to build estimates in minutes. This allows us to deliver estimates to customers in real time—regardless of who’s on site or performing the inspection,” says Glozik.

That level of accessibility opens the door for better collaboration and faster workflows. “I don’t need to be on-site. I can walk through a job virtually, match it to the scope, and help the team plan it out from anywhere.”

Looking ahead, FP is working closely with the Encircle Product and Development teams to explore AI use in restoration and how it can reduce time spent on data entry, scoping and other repetitive tasks. “AI is only as good as the documentation you feed it. That’s why we’re focused on capturing clean, consistent data with Encircle—so we’re ready for any AI tool in the future. The tech won’t replace my people, but it will let them focus on what matters; documenting clearly and working closely with customers.”
