Rather than announce on day one, Encircle waited until customers had measurable results to show.

Property restoration is a large, insurance-driven industry where documentation quality directly determines how fast contractors get paid. Contractors generate large volumes of data on every job, including photos, moisture readings, notes, floor plans and audio, but that data has historically lived in silos across disconnected apps and paper logs. Because Encircle captures all of it in one structured place, even offline, Encircle AI can put it to work.
Encircle AI is the foundational technology built directly into the Encircle platform. It combines computer vision, spatial calculations and a language model that references IICRC standards and restoration logic, and it works inside the workflows crews already use. Encircle AI Powers Encircle Scope
The most significant application of Encircle AI is Encircle Scope, which builds a complete mitigation scope room by room from field documentation in minutes, with equipment math done and every line item cited to S500, S520 or S700. Estimating has long been one of the most time consuming and error prone parts of restoration, with estimators building scope manually from memory and partial notes while billable items slip through.
Encircle Scope generates scopes at 90 to 95% completeness from field data, and shops are using it to capture 5 to 8% more revenue from line items that manual estimating misses. It is available today as an add-on for Encircle customers.
“It is easy and quick. It gives you at least 90 to 95% of the scope and is pretty much on target. It saves time when sharing with adjusters or estimators,” said Steve Keane, President of RestoPros of New Hampshire.
Generic AI models can draft a scope that reads well, but they miss billable line items, can’t flag what’s missing and aren’t built referencing IICRC standards. Just as important, there’s no documentation behind the output, so when a carrier challenges an estimate there’s nothing to back it up. With carriers now using AI of their own to verify estimates, an output that can’t hold up is revenue left unclaimed. Encircle Scope is built from the field documentation itself, so every line item has the evidence behind it.
Coming this summer: a validated Encircle Scope will flow directly into Xactimate, producing a first draft of the estimate in a couple of clicks and connecting field documentation to the estimate of record for the first time.

Contents teams are seeing the same lift from Item Descriptions.
